I was starting to wonder whether anything could topple the epic song that is Stairway To Heaven.

As it turns out a simple tune with all of 3 chords has found its way to the top spot. Clocks by Coldplay was the most requested song of last week.

Stairway to heaven still climbing

Stairway to heaven has been a firm favorite again this week making it the most requested song of the year so far.

There is quite a bit of song to get your head around, but I’m pleased to say you all seem to be enjoying it. Well done to those who are sticking at it. The second most requested this week so far is Losing my religion by REM.

Song of the Week is….Everlong by the FooFighters.

For 2 weeks running it was Cannonball with close competition from Zephyr song by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

‘Everlong’ seems to have struck a chord this week (no pun intended…honest). You can play this song on acoustic or electric and it sounds great.

Go to the intermediate section and you’ll find your copy there.
